Right now, I've escaped for a little while to get my phone activated and check my email. Today is DAY 5 of the camp and we're almost done. Only the camp fire left tonight and we'll be going back indoors (YAY!). Having spent the last 4.5 days with the kids have allowed me to see how the kids have grown/changed. Generally speaking, most of the kids have become brighter (i.e. talk more openly, smile more and often, etc). I was surprised to see even older highschool boys coming up to say "hi" to me and make small talk during the camp. And you have to understand, last year these same boys wouldn't even respond when I said hi to them! We even joke around and they sometimes offer to help out with dishes and such. How amazing is prayer! I came to see the fruit of prayer but I didn't realize it would be so sudden and so soon! I am so happy right now! This week has been so funnn!!
